Working outside the home was hard with a small child, and the language was new. Hardest of all, she couldn’t find modest clothes that were comfortable, elegant, and well made — something always needed fixing: too short, or missing sleeves.

So she began sourcing her own wardrobe from Turkey. And one day the thought arrived: why not bring this here, for women like me?

From that question, Veloria was born — modest pieces she wished she’d had all along.
